DALLAS, Sep. 24 – Match.com announced today that Takahito Uezono has been named president and country manager of Match.com Japan K.K. In this role, Uezono is responsible for all Match.com business and operational activities in Japan and will report to Carl Leubsdorf, Jr., senior vice president, Asia-Pacific operations. Uezono previously led the Japan business operations for an international Internet community site.
“Japan is a market where Match.com foresees great opportunities for growth,” Leubsdorf said.. “We are confident that Mr. Uezono’s extensive online and communication experience will help us dynamically drive and grow our Japan operations.”
