Match.com, celebrating its tenth year as the world's leading online dating and relationship company, today premiered its new guide to dating entitled "How to Meet the Right Person in 90 Days." Taking the insight and knowledge gained from 10 years and millions of successful relationships, Match.com collaborated with author and relationship expert Dawn Yanek to develop the free, step-by-step program, which focuses on self evaluation, expanding one's romantic possibilities and managing relationships.

"At Match.com, we believe there is someone for everyone," said Jim Safka, CEO of Match.com. "We've spent a decade helping single people connect with one another and navigate the dating and relationship process. During that time, we've learned a lot about what works - and what doesn't -- and we wanted to share that valuable information with single people of all ages and lifestyles. 'How to Meet the Right Person in 90 Days' is Match.com's 10th Anniversary gift to them."

The guide will be presented online in three installments. The first, "Finding Yourself So You Can Find the One," is currently live on Match.com and includes a variety of self-assessment tools, techniques and tips to help Match.com members understand their dating pasts in order to improve their dating futures. The complete guide is free to all current Match.com members and to anyone who registers on Match.com before May 31, 2005. The second and third installments will be released in June and July 2005, respectively.

Dawn Yanek, relationship expert and author of the Guide, said it's amazing what you can accomplish in just three months.

"The key is to be honest about your past relationships -- the successes and the failures -- and to focus on what really matters and open yourself up to new experiences," she said. "This is dating, not dieting. Have fun with it, and the results will speak for themselves."

Less than a generation ago, the search for love was limited by one's location and governed by time and space. That all changed a decade ago when a small team of visionary people launched a new kind of Internet business -- one that would create new romantic opportunities for people. Match.com was born.

Match.com pioneered the online personals industry in 1995, attracting 60,000 members during its first year of operation. Today, more than 60,000 new people across six continents register on the site every day, joining the 15 million people who use Match.com to help them find love. In fact, a recent study showed that 12 percent of engaged or married couples met online, and more said they met on Match.com than any other site.

"From the beginning, Match.com has led a cultural shift, expanding the possibilities for single people," Safka said. "Everything about the way people connect, communicate and find love has changed, but the basic human desire for love is the same as it's always been. With our new program, we hope to hear about even more Match.com success stories this year."
