IAC Appoints Greg Blatt CEO of Match.com

NEW YORK, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IAC announced today that Greg Blatt, currently IAC's Executive Vice President and General Counsel, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Match.com.

"Since September of 2008 he has had specific corporate oversight responsibility for Match.com and has demonstrated keen insights into the Match business and real ambition for all its possibilities."

Mr. Blatt succeeds Thomas Enraght-Moony, the previous CEO of Match.com who is leaving Match.com following today's announced sale of its European operations to Meetic. He will work with Mr. Blatt and the Match.com management team to ensure a seamless transition.

As CEO of Match.com, Mr. Blatt will have primary responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of IAC's personals businesses, which includes the global operations for its flagship brand, Match.com, as well as Chemistry.com and DowntoEarth.com. Following the sale of Match.com Europe to Meetic, Match.com will operate leading subscription-based online dating sites in 24 countries, in eight languages and spanning five continents, as well as oversee its ongoing investment in Meetic.

Mr. Blatt will retain his current role as Executive Vice President of IAC and will continue to serve in IAC's Office of the Chairman, but will no longer serve as General Counsel of IAC. Gregg Winiarski, previously Vice President, Associate General Counsel, has been named the Senior Vice President, General Counsel of IAC, reporting to Mr. Blatt.

Mr. Blatt, 40, has more than 10 years experience as a member of senior management teams of diverse public companies. For the last five years, he has been at IAC, serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and a member of the Office of the Chairman, with direct responsibility for the legal, human resources and corporate communications functions. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President, Business Affairs and General Counsel, of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where he was responsible for all legal and transactional activity. In both roles, Mr. Blatt had intimate involvement in all major managerial, strategic and transactional decisions affecting each company's multiple lines of business. Mr. Blatt has also been an associate at Grubman Indursky & Schindler and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, two New York law firms. He has a BA from Colgate University and a JD from Columbia Law School.

Mr. Enraght-Moony has been Match.com's Chief Executive Officer since April 2007. He joined the company in 2004 as General Manager of North America and took on responsibility for Match.com's International business in May 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Match.com, Mr. Enraght-Moony served as Director and then Vice President for eCommerce at AT&T Wireless. Before AT&T Wireless, he held a number of product, marketing, and business development positions at E*TRADE. Mr. Enraght-Moony started his career as a software programmer at Accenture. He received an MA (Hons) from Glasgow University, Scotland and an MBA from INSEAD. France.
